This national park is located in
the far western region of Nepal
covering an area of 225 sq. km
offers a challenging yet
rewarding experience unlike any
other protected area in Nepal,
because of its remoteness has
kept this area untouched by
tourist's well known for its
religious vale as well as its
natural beauty. Late Khaptad
Baba spent 50 yrs
mediating&worshiping became a
renowned spiritual saint.
Besides its religious importance
park's rich for its natural
beauty from where you can see
Api & Saipal Himalaya ranges has
22 open patches of grasslands,
Khaptad daha (lake), flora
consisting montane sal,
pine&alder species, Fir, Oak,
Birch&rhododendron are major
species found there as well 135
species of flowers are found in
Khaptad Grasslands, along with
medicinal herbs (about 224
species) park 's reported to
have 226 bird species among
common are impeyan phesant (dhanphe),
Nepal's national bird
Lophophorus & many types of
partridges, flycatchers,
bulbuls, cuckoos& eagles
provides habitat for some 20
different species of animals
(barking deer, wild boar, Goral,
Leopard, Wild dog&jackal).

Day 01:
Arrive in Kathmandu |
|
Arrive in Kathmandu. Welcome and
Assistance on arrival at
Airport. Transfer to Hotel.
Hotel Check in. Dinner and
overnight stay at Kathmandu. |

Day 02: Kathmandu – Nepalgunj-
Buditola |
|
After breakfast at the Hotel
transfer to the Domestic Airport
to connect flight to Nepalgunj.
Arrive at Nepalgunj. 6 hrs drive
from Nepalgunj will reach us to
Buditola. Overnight stay at
Buditola. |

Day 03: Silgadhi |
|
Drive to Silgadhi, camping and
overnight stay at Silgadhi. |

Day 04:
trek to Jhigrana. |
|
After breakfast, trek to Baglek
for about 3 ˝ hrs. Lunch at
Baglek (2160m). After lunch 3 ˝
hrs trek to Jhigrana (2300m),
camping at Jhigrana. |

Day 05: Jhigrana - Bukipani |
|
4 hrs trek from Jhigrana to
Bichpani Dharmashala(2950m),
Lunch at Bichpani (3020m). After
lunch two and half hours trek to
Bukipani. Camping at Bukipani |

Day 06:
Bukipani – Khaptad
National Park (3010m) |
|
2 hrs trek to Khaptad (3010m).
Afternoon visit khaptad National
Park including Baba Ashram,
Triveni . Overnight camping at
Khaptad National Park. |

Day 07: Khaptad National Park |
|
Full day at Khaptad including
visit to the Tower, Museum,
Khaptad Danda (hill) and patan
etc. camping and overnight stay
at Khaptad. |

Day 08: Trek back to Jhigrana
(2300m) |
|
4 hrs trek to Bichpani (3050 m).
After Lunch 2 ˝ hrs trek to
Jhigrana. Camping at Jhigrana
(2300m). |

Day 09: Jhigrana - Shilgadi |
|
4 hrs trek Uditola, Lunch in
Uditola (1790m). After lunch, 1
hrs trek to Shilgadi, Camping at
Shilgadi (1330m). |

Day 10: Shilgadi - Mahendranagar |
|
From Shilgadhi we drive to
Mahendranagar. Arrive at
Mahendranagar. Hotel Check in.
Overnight stay at the hotel. |

Day 11: Shuklaphanta Wildlife
Reserve |
|
Drive to Shuklaphanta Wildlife
Reserve. Suklaphanta Wildlife
Reserve (SWR) located in the
far- western Terai on the
southwest edge of Nepal was
allocated an area of 155 sq km
in 1976, which was later
extended to 305 sq km. RSWR is
worldwide famous for the herd of
Swamp deer, which currently
stands at about 2000
individuals. It is the abode of
about 45 Wild Elephants and 35
Royal Bengal Tigers, both the
endangered species. The reserve
is recognized for the largest
number of tigers found per sq/km
in comparison to its small size.
This propitious reserve is also
the residence of Blue Bull,
Barking Deer, Hog Deer, Wild
Boar, Leopard, Jackals, Langur,
Rhesus Monkey as well as one
lone Rhinoceros in the reserve.

Day 12: Shuklaphanta Wildlife
Reserve - Bardiya National Park |
|
After breakfast at the tented
camp drive towards the Bardiya
National Park. Reach to Nepal
Wildlife Resort .Welcome drink
will be served upon arrival.
After lunch you will be taken
for a nature walk to the Jungle.
Dinner at 7.30 PM. Overnight at
Nepal Wildlife Resort. |

Day 13: Bardiya National
Park |
|
Early morning wake up call.
Tea/coffee at 6.30 AM. At 7.00
AM breakfast will be served.
Then you will be taken to the
Jungle to see the mighty Karnali
River with all its aquatic
games, birds, crocodile & if you
are lucky you might see the
Gangetic dolphin. Lunch will be
served on your return. Then you
rest for a while waiting for the
elephants to take you on a
elephant back safari to explore
the great one horned rhinoceros,
four types of deer, monkey, wild
boar, leopard & if lucky the
elusive tiger as well. Nepalese
buffet dinner will be served at
7.30 PM. There will be native
folk dance to entertain you in
the evening. Overnight at Nepal

Day 14: Bardiya National
Park/ Nepalgunj/ Kathmandu |
|
Early Morning wake up call.
Tea/coffee at 6.00AM. At 6.30
bird watching Tour through
Bardia National Park. There are
360 different Species of Birds.
Breakfast will be served on your
return. After breakfast you will
visit ethnic Tharu Village to
have a close look at their
social & cultural life. Then you
return to the Resort to prepare
for journey to Nepalgunj, catch
a flight to Kathmandu. Overnight
in Kathmandu. |

Airport |

time till departure to Airport. |
