Day 01:
Arrive in Kathmandu |
|
Arrive in Kathmandu. Welcome and
Assistance on arrival at Airport.
Transfer to Hotel. Hotel Check in.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kathmandu. |

Day 02: KATHMANDU TO SYABRU BESI [2000M] |
|
After an early breakfast at the hotel we
make our departure from Kathmandu to
Syabru Besi our trekking point, which is
of 7 hours drive. On the way from
Kathmandu we get to observe views of the
Himalayan, including the Annapurnas,
Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the peaks of
the Langtang region. Overnight stay at
the local lodge at Syabru Besi. |

Day 03: SYABRU BESI TO LAMA HOTEL [2748m] |
|
We start out trek from northwest of
Syabru Besi to a suspension bridge over
the Bhote Koshi. Turning right at the
eastern end of the bridge we walk into a
small settlement of Syabru Besi and
visit to a Gompa, then follow the
stone-paved street to a bridge over the
Langtang Khola, trail on the south side
of the river, forests- make a steep
climb over a rocky ridge, then to a
junction from where the trail climbs
over and reaches at Rimche and from here
descend to Chantang, widely known as
Lama Hotel. Overnight stay at the local
lodge at Chantang. |

Day 04:
LAMA HOTEL TO LANGTANG VILLAGE
[3500m] |
|
To begin our trek for the day we start
climbing through a forest of hemlocks,
oaks and rhododendrons high above the
Langtang Khola, then move to Gumanchok,
15 minutes from here we will be at
Ghunama and climb to Ghora Tabela at an
elevation of 2970m. From this point we
proceed to Chamki through Thaugshyap,
then descend into a valley to cross a
stream passing several water- driven
mills to the large settlement of
Langtang. Overnight stay at Langtang
Village. |

Day 05: LANGTANG VILLAGE TO KYANGJIN
[3800m] |
|
We wind up the trail through the village
and climb onto a ridge then steadily
climb passing through the small village
of Mundu to Sindum. One more hour of
walking will reach us to the pastures of
Yamphu. Crossing the Laja Khola and
weaving through some rocks we climb
towards the Kyangjin Gompa. There are
lodges in enough number at this place.
We spend rest of our day relaxing and
exploring the surroundings. |

Day 06:
REST DAY IN KYANGJIN |
|
To spend the whole day in Kyangjin and
make it a pleasant one we can walk up
the moraine north of Kyangjin Gompa to
catch the glimpses of the magnificient
views of Langtang Lirung, Yansa Tsenji
and Kinshung as well as the foot of the
huge Lirung Glacier. |
|

Day 07: KYANGJIN TO GHORA TABELA |
|
Following the Langtang Khola to Langtang
village we continue retracing the route
from Kyangjin to Ghora Tabela. Overnight
stay at Ghora Tabela. |

|
Day 08: GHORA TABELA TO SYABRU [2130m] |
|
From Ghora Tabela we keep on retracing
our steps to some part of Syabru Besi,
and then move left up a path through the
forest to encounter a view of Syabru and
the area of terraces of millet. We make
a night stay at Syabru or Thulo Syabru. |

Day 09: THULO SYABRU TO SING GOMPA
[3330m] |
|
From Syabru the trail takes a steep
climb to Dursagang and then through the
forests of hemlock and oak passing an
old chorten to the top of the ridge at
Foprang Danda and then to Chadan Bari
which is at an elevation of 3330m, this
place’s main attraction is Sing Gompa.
This place is commonly known as Sing
Gompa than Chadan Bari. Overnight stay
at Sing Gompa. |

Day 10: SING GOMPA TO GOSAINKUND [4460m] |
|
Climbing steeply from Sing Gompa at
several points the trail crossing behind
the ridges moves in deep forests to
Chalang Pati , walk from here will enter
us to the protected areas of Gosaikunda.
The other point where we trek on the way
to Gosainkunda is Laurebina Yak. We
continue to ascend to the ridge and then
climb to Saraswati Kund and Bhairav Kund
continue climbing gently and then drop
about 20m to reach to the lake
Gosaikunda. Overnight stay at
Gosainkunda. |

Day 11: GOSAINKUND TO THAREPATI |
|
Leaving Gosaikunda the trail moves to
Gopte, passing three more small lakes,
we reach to Laurebina La, then to Phedi,
from where the route drops to a stream
and crosses the head of the valley,
descending to Dupi Chaur, with all these
ups and downs we make a final ascent to
Tharepati, a windy ridge, which stands
high at an elevation of 3640m. Overnight
stay at the local lodge at Tharepati. |

Day 12: THAREPATI TO GUL BHANJYANG
[2580m] |
|
From Tharepati to reach to Gul Bhanjyan
it almost requires 6-7 hours walk for
us. From Therapati we walk to Magen Goth
and finally reach Gul Bhanjyang crossing
Mere Danda 3510m, Panghu, rhododendron
forests and Khutumsang. Overnight stay
at Gul Bhanjyang. |

Day 13: GUL BHANJYANG TO CHISOPANI
[2194m] |
|
The magnificent views of the Himalayans
can never be by passed, how much close
you have reached to it. So we cannot
avoid the majestic Himalayan scene that
is seen from Chisopani. Thus, without
skipping a night stay at Chisopani by
directly coming to Kathmandu. From Gul
Bhanjyang we hike till Chisopani and
then make a night stay out there. |

Day 14: CHISOPANI TO SUNDARIJAL |
|
From Chisopani, we pass through meadows
and cultivated fields and climb through
oak and rhododendron forest to Burlang
Bhanjyang. From here we trek down to the
Shivapuri ridge to the road at
Sundarijal. After reaching Sundarijal we
can drive to our hotels at the Kathmandu.

Day 15: KATHMANDU |
|
Breakfast at Hotel. Full day
sightseeing.
AM: Visit 2000 years old Buddhist shrine
Swyambhunath, situated on the top of the
hill west of the city the most popular
and instantly recognizable symbols of
Nepal. The temple is colloquially known
as the “Monkey Temple”. There are many
small buildings and shrines down the
hillside behind Swayambhunath. Explore
the colorful Kathmandu Durbar Square-
The Old Royal Palace of Kathmandu,
Temple of living goddess Kumari, the
Jagannath temple, 17th century temple
known for colorfully painted erotic
carvings, Kasthmandap temple a three
story temple built from a single tree in
12th century.
Lunch: 1300hrs-1400hrs
PM: Visit Pashupatinath temple one of
the most sacred Hindu shrine in the
World. The holy river Bagmati and the
burning ghats and visit one of the
oldest and biggest stupa of Boudhanath,
Overnight stay at the Hotel. |

Day 16: DEPARTURE TO
AIRPORT |
|
AM: Breakfast at Hotel. Free time till
departure to Airport. |
